Alongside using the Standard EMDR Protocol, I often utilize other EMDR protocols that match the client’s unique needs and increase healthy attachment. A passion of mine is integrating other bottom up, evidenced based therapies with EMDR for complex cases. Alongside the EMDR Standard Protocol, I often use Recent Events Protocol, Attachment focused EMDR, and Protocols for kids.

Just like counseling, one size does not fit all for consultation. However, I enjoy helping others understand EMDR and grow in confidence using it as well as case conceptualizations. I think we often learn best by doing, so applying EMDR principles to specific cases is an important part of consultation.
